Thun

The artefacts in the exhibition rooms of the Foundation HAM in Thun are as diverse as the fields of applications of the Swiss Armed Forces. We give an insight into the equipment used by the army from around 1800 to the present day. Many of our departments can be visited with guided tours. Please find the diverse departments in the list on the left. Some pictures of selected objects indicate the range of objects you may see in your visit.
Our utmost concern is to store the military-historical cultural assets entrusted to us in a professional manner, carrying out conservation interventions where necessary and fascilitating the best possible storage method with various measures so that the valuable cultural heritage of the Swiss Armed Forces is preserved.
